Ever since I upgraded from 7.10, to 8.04 and then to 8.10, I noticed that UT2004 now has two cursors. My default gnome cursor and the ingame cursor. How can I sync the two or get rid of one? I've installed Unreal Tournament 2004 for Linux, no wine here. I just don't understand what changed through the upgrade that made this happen. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Are you playing with compiz on or off? If it is on, have you tried playing with it off? What programs are running when you decide you want to play? etc. Have you tried a fresh install of ubuntu?

Just tried it with Compiz off and it doesn't show the gnome cursor. Is there any sort of script that can temporarily disable compiz when I click the UT2004 shortcut and then re-enable it upon close?
