I just upgraded my install to Intrepid on my studio. All the volume controls worked fine. Now nothing happens if I try to increase/decrease volume or mute with the buttons above the keyboard. I tried reassigning them to their keyboard shortcuts, but pressing them does not register anything. What could have happened?
Edit: I have also just discovered that headphones don't work.
Double edit: Something very strange to report. If I slide my finger across the entire set of media keys really fast, the volume will change. If I go left to right, it increases; left to right, it decreases. It only happens some of the time, and just now I did it and the volume icon kept coming on and off over and over until I swiped my finger again and it stopped. I'm starting to think this is witchcraft.
