View Full Version : Help with World of Warcraft?

Erm, *World of Warcraft. It isn't letting me edit the title.. o_0

So, I followed some guides and such and got World of Warcraft working wonderfully on my Linux 8.04. However, I still have one glitch that I cannot fix: Every time I move indoors everything gets all glitchy/spotty and I can't read anything. It's impossible to play after that. So far, I've found a few tips that have suggestions for people running it off of an older version of Wine. But, I just downloaded the new version of Wine and these suggestions don't apply to me.

Anyone have advice for someone using the newer version of wine?

have you tried a /console reloadui in game?

Also it would be really handy if you posted your system stats so we can figure this out if its a hardware driver issue.

This could be caused by your graphics card driver. I suggest ensuring that you have the latest one installed for your graphics card. You can check this by using the proprietary driver manager available from within Ubuntu.
