Go to a console, and type this command:
sudo apt-get install xorg-driver-fglrx
...or you can use synaptic!

i think i might need internet access for that (internet for ubuntu) because it gives me an error like the following
W: Couldn't stat source package list (website here) (it gave 15 of these)
E: Couldn't find package xorg-driver-fglrx (one of these at end)
so do i need internet to use that command?

Otherwise you could insert the ubuntu install-cd, and run the command again...
Make sure the cdrom-line in /etc/apt/sources.list is not commented:
deb cdrom:[Ubuntu 5.10 _Breezy Badger_ - Release i386 (20051012)]/ breezy main restricted
...That's my cdrom-line (please don't copy - It will not work unless it's the exact same cd!)

i uncommented the cd line and when i go to add applications and try to add audicy or something it works for 5 of 11 packages and gives me an error same as before but at the end it has two new lines (my cd line like the one you posted) please useapt-cdrom to make this CD-ROM recognized by APT.apt-get update cannot be used to add new CD-ROMs
where do i get this apt-cdrom?
sudokubuntu
