XPS M1530 Wireless problem

Hi all, im currently dual booting Vista Ultimate and Ubuntu 8.10, the only problem i seem to have is while using Ubuntu i cant connect to my wireless network unless its unprotected, if i protect the wireless network it wont take my password, it keeps asking me to re-enter it, even though im entering the correct one... Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thx in advance

I have Hardy on my M1530, and I have successfully used secure wireless.

I did have similar problems to you, however, when I wasn't specifying the type of security correctly. The error message was just as you describe, which wasn't very helpful since you are typing in the correct password!

What type of security do you have in place on the wireless network, how do you have Vista set up to work with the wireless network, and how do you have Ibex set up to work with the wireless network?
