List of Adventure Games like Flight of the Amazon Queen

One of the most satisfying aspects of my transition to Ubuntu was discovering Flight Of The Amazon Queen. Now that I have solved that puzzle I am hoping that you all could provide me with a list of text based adventure games (with graphics) that are as good or even almost as good.

[Please note I am not talking about Net-hack style games but games that involve a single specific storyline like Flight Of The Amazon Queen.]

try Beneath a Steel Sky. it's also in the repos. aside from that, if you want a list, try this one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Point-and-click_adventure_games. 'cos what you need are point and click adventure games. if you want true text-based adventure games, and with graphics too, look at this: http://www.twinbee.org/hob/play.php?snap=hobbit. :)

You can see what games scumm supports, there are a plethora of adventure games made for DOS as well. I'd suggest looking up Sierra, famous for their Quest series-es at the time.

Happy adventuring, I stopped PC gaming when the adventure genre went into a slump, then everything was First Person Shooter...
