i get this message from dmesg when plugging in my webcam but when in canorama or cheese i dont get any video output for my webcam

so all looks fine but not sure why its coming up with no video

p.s there is a native gspca screen that allows you to change brightness etc directly anyone know or heard of it and how i get into it
