The title pretty much says it all. I want to get a new Wireless N adapter and I really don't feel like having any troubles with it. I've had an N router for a number of months and haven't used its full capabilities.

Who has one, which one is it, and did it "just work" after plugging it in?

I have Ubuntu 64 so I don't think ndiswrapper is a viable option, so it would pretty much need a Linux native driver.

I believe that as long as the windows driver and the adapter have the capabilities of wireless N then the full functionality is used. But don't quote me on that.

A good place to start:

but really just look at adapters from good manufacturers like linksys then google to see if others got them to work and what it took
