I need a batch photo program that will resize, rename, re-etc.? I can't seem to find anything in my applications. Am I missing something?

Thanks

One of my favorite windows (cough cough :) ) photo handling utilities is irfanview that does all that stuff. While he has not ported it to linux, there are some alternatives - you might find this link of interest addressing this issue.

This one is commandline-based, but extremely powerful.

sudo apt-get install imagemagick

Squash might be what you are looking for. It has a decent gui, is in the repos, and is very powerful. I have used it to resize batches of photos, I am unsure about renaming files.

sudo apt-get install squash
