I am running Ubuntu 8.10 desktop. I wanted to set up an email server in the same machine i run my webserver (apache2) so I can send and receive email. Unfortunately, courier/postfix seemed too complicated and I couldn't get them to work. I have managed though to set up exim4 with relaying outgoing messages to my ISP mail gate and I can send outgoing mail using any username I want (in my case admin@mysite.net) but i don't know how to receive/view the incoming mail. During configuration I selected to put incoming mail at my /home/myusername/mail folder but that doesn't work. Does anyone know what I need to do? Is there a GUI tool I can use to send/receive/create users in exim4?
