Installing a 64bit ubuntu server In a classroom

I am installing a Ubuntu 8.10 server for my computer teacher. I want all of the computers in the classroom to be able to boot from the network, each person would have their own user-name and password log in. (we purchased a server). Where should I start? Does anyone know of any website tutorials for this? I am not an expert with ubuntu, but it's free so I want to use it for a classroom in school. Please Help.

You could set up all the clients as diskless or thin clients. That way everything will be controlled by the server and not by the client PC's.
