This isn't as much a problem as it is a question.
A series of questions. All help is appreciated:

Is it possible to install a 64-bit version of Intrepid Ibex on the Dell Mini 9?
If so, is it possible to get more than 2GB of RAM on the system?

Also,
To anyone who has Ubuntu installed on a Dell laptop with media buttons.

Do these media buttons work, even if they are a little buggy? I would like to get Ubuntu on this Studio 15, but I would like to make sure the media buttons would work first.

Btw, I'm thinking of upgrading the RAM on my Mini 9 to 2GB and installing an additional 64GB SSD in the unused mini PCIe slot marked WWAN. Anyone know if that's been done before?

Thanks to ANYONE that answers!

I believe the Atom processer is 32-bit so a 64-bit install won't work. The maximum RAM for a 32-bit machine is technically 4GB so if your limited to 2GB it might be a limit imposed by the hardware and not the OS.

About the extra space, I have the mini 9, and when I bought it, there was an option to get a 4GB ($25), 8GB ($45) or 16GB ($80), SD card to put in the slot marked SD-MS/Pro-MMC. I think you can get one of those, put it in the slot, and use it kind of like a USB-drive. Hope that helps:)
