View Full Version : My brother loves it! Though needs accounting software.

I have to admit to using Linux [any flavor] rarely as an addon OS on my main box here at home. Though when my brother needed a computer I took an old system and threw Ubuntu on it.

He likes it! Thinks it's fast, it's never crashed, and it works with all of his hardware! I have to admit he's had a better experience with it than I have!

[Wow, that's a lot of exclamation marks.]

Now his only problem is finding an affordable accounting software that has a similar range of abilities as Quickbooks [or Peachtree].

All help is appreciated.

I think you might be able to use GNUcash, Grisbi or Homebank.
Do

sudo apt-get install gnucash grisbi homebank
in terminal to install them so he can try them all out.
