After detects hardwares nothing occurs

Whenever I try to install RedHat 8.0 on my pc,after installation detects hardwares and lists them nothing occurs.This is my first time to install and use a linux system,i suppose nothing wrong with my installation cd nor my pc,anyway i would be pleased to know whether there is any other necessery thing to be done but placing the disc and running it.
