Which theme style do you use in Gnome: (style I mean icons+gtk+metacity)
A gnomish style like gperfection2 (http://www.gnome-look.org/content/preview.php?preview=1&id=22989&file1=22989-1.png&file2=22989-2.png&file3=22989-3.png&name=gperfection%C2%B2+Suite), graphite (http://www.gnome-look.org/content/preview.php?preview=1&id=26757&file1=26757-1.jpg&file2=26757-2.png&file3=26757-3.png&name=Graphite+Suite) or gnome default (http://www.gnome.org/start/2.12/notes/it/figures/figure-gnome-desktop.png)
A Mac OS X like style (http://www.gnome-look.org/content/pre1/13548-1.jpg)
A Win xp like Style (http://benjamin.sipsolutions.net/Projects/eXperience/Screenshots?action=AttachFile&do=get&target=experience-nautilus.png)
A Ubuntu brown style (http://www.ubuntuforums.org/gallery/showimage.php?i=1376&c=2)
A various style (mixed gtk icons and metacity)
Let's vote or post your choice!

I stick with the defaults generally as I don't care too much about eye-candy. I will play with icons every once in a while, but generally, I don't. Ubuntu brown does it just fine for me.

Clearlooks-GNOME from BVC's BigPack + Cairo, gPerfection icons, and Opus3 Metacity titlebar ported by BVC. Shear perfection. I <3 GNOME, and nothing you can show me can change my mind, and showing me KDE will just shove me even furdur in the direction of GNOME.

My vote for Mac OSX. Anyone know of any MAC-type launcher bar besides gDesklet's starterbar?

Ooo...some like minded people :D
Right now;
gtk: Human-Hedgehog (clearlooks cairo)
mcity: Unity
icons: Nerdy Lines
wallpaper from vladstudios
CL_Cairo-Hedge_Unity_Nerdy (http://kwh.kernow-gb.com/~bvc/theme/screenshots/CL_Cairo-Hedge_Unity_Nerdy.jpg)
which falls in line with my latest trend of earth tone stuff. I've mostly been using gperfection2, and custom humanity icons and green/nature wallpapers. Can't stand to use pixmap themes anymore. Too slow (cairo) and too many flaws in gtk.....I know, I'm too picky. But because of my current job, I don't have the patience or time for email much less to wait for a window to draw :???:
Enjoy my contribs everyone, and you are most welcome!!!

I like the default stuff, it looks beautiful and it's clear. Check out my Ubuntu Desktop:
Screenshot (http://home.quicknet.nl/qn/prive/jg.rinkel/Screenshot)
Screenshot2 (http://home.quicknet.nl/qn/prive/jg.rinkel/Screenshot2)
The folders on the desktop aren't actually being used. It's just to show how it looks by default and it looks good. But without that beautiful wallpaper things wouldn't look this cool.

I suppose my theme is Mac OS style...Don't really use it like one though. Don't use Icons on my desktop (thus turned off), use the terminal instead of Nautilus, 99% of the time use alt-f2 to open applications. I like to think I'm pretty minimalistic. :) Pretty good for an ex Mac OS user.
Using Leech for my gtk theme and a blendish with some major color modifications. My font size reflects how high the resolution is on my monitor. It's so crisp and pretty from it tooooooo!
Meh. I'll vote for Mac OS X style.

I'm using Unity metacity theme, with Humility icons and Clearlooks Cairo theme i'm making for my winter desktop theme. (while trying to learn how GTK themes work).
There is also hidden panel with all my icons in it. I like to see my background pics, and I only keep stuff I'm working with on my desktop.
