Ubuntu site down ?

I was going to download a copy of server 8.10 for some testing --- and it appears as though all ubuntu.com sites are down. Pretty strange -- could this be a denial of service attack ? Or did someone trip over the power cord ?

I assume that your dns server is messed up.. so if ubuntu.com truly doesn't work for you, I given you a uni of oregon's link to ubuntu 8.10 server.

Ubuntu servers down .... it seemed too unreal. No just yet another sign the XP box I'm typing this on is gonna explode soon.

Fired up the trusty dual G4 Powermac and got right to the ubuntu site .... Unix or Linux ... accept no substitutes for a real OS

How fitting --- I'll be using the Unix based mac to surf the ubuntu documentation site to setup my ubuntu server:lolflag:
