PlayOnLinux question

I was investigating www.playonlinux.org/en and I was wondering what dependancies it ueses. I'm currently thinking about using it to play games on linux and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what it's dependancies are (ie is it native kde or gnome, etc), since I run an entirely gtk based desktop, trying to keep it all unform.
