im currently running ubuntu studio 8.04.i have my wireless set up with the
ndis wrapper.however ubuntu studio doesnt automatically set up the wireless
icon and the stuff that goes with it,my wireless light is on and it shows up
in the network interface, but i want it to work like it works in ubuntu.
so my question is how do i do that? do i have to down load wireless tools,
or a wireless interface? any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

nevermind i solved the problem,i reinstalled the ndis drivers and installed
the gnome network manager and restarted and the wireless icon appeared,
with a list of local networks:guitar:
seems to be a common problem with ubuntu studio.
hope this helps someone else!
