I downloaded and installed some GDM from gnome-look.org, but copied the extracted folders to usr/share/gdm/themes/ because i want them available for all user accounts...

So, the GDM themes showed up in the menú, and i enabled one. But on reboot, after grub.. it showed the color of my background and the cursor in the "thinking" animation. Nothing more, no desktop, nothing...

Is there a way of setting the default GDM theme in a config text file or something?

Fixed it. Deleted the theme thru commandline
