(Wine) Sim City 4: Please insert play disk.

I've installed Sim City 4 through wine, and it worked great, but when I insert the Disk 2 (the play disk), it doesn't see it. It tells me to insert the play disk even though the CD is already in. Any ideas?

i have gotten it to work, but when it gets to installing after disk two, it seems to halt.
im trying an install with play on linux and it appears promising. ill keep you up to date as this is the only thing im missing

What version are you trying to install (Regular, Deluxe, Rush Hour)? Have you guys had a look at: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=4088? They usually have tips here on how to get various things working under wine.

I'm using the Rush Hour version. It actually works fine, I just had to configure wine. Go To Applications -> Wine -> Configure Wine -> Drives, and click "Autodetect." It should work from here. If it is really slow, go to the graphics settings in the game and change it from rendering the graphics with Hardware to Software. I think I had to change it for mine because I have integrated graphics. Hope this helps.

i have the deluxe edition but i am having zero luck with plays on linux. i have a copy of the disks at home but its currently a thousand miles away (literally) when i go home early next week, i will try the actual disks rather than the nocd crack i have.
