I finally decided to upgrade to the most recent kernel of Ubuntu over the weekend and it killed my wireless. I have an intel pro wirless 3945abg card in an Inspiron E1705.

The weird part about it is my card detects all nearby networks but can not connect to any of them. It just goes to the to two green dots then times out.

Any help would be appreciated I've tried searching for a similar problem but could find none. I have to go home from work and then will get on and give any information requested. Thanks for any help ahead of schedule.

Can you post the output of the following without the brackets: <sudo uname -a>.
