I believe I need to clean the keyboard on my Darter Ultra 2. At the moment CapsLock isn't working. Backspace just got stuck for a while. My 'y' key felt like it had something underneath it. An I've had numerous problems with the 'Win' key being permenantly stuck.

So the question is, how do you go about remove the keyboard for a proper cleaning? Those little tabs that holds down the bar with the power button and indicator lights look like they'll break off if I bend them (or wont bend back). Do I need to pull them back to release the keyboard? Are they are fragile as they look?

The DarU2 keyboard is a little difficult to remove, but doable. However, removing the keyboard doesn't really give you access to the underside of the keys, so doing so is not overly helpful.

Your best first bet would be to get a can of compressed air and blow it all around the keys. This usually works to dislodge particles, etc...

If that doesn't work, and you still want to try to remove the keyboard, let's connect via email (support(at)system76(dot)com) and I'll provide further instructions.
