Hi,

I'm looking to start a conversation with folks who have successfully installed and configured ubuntu on tablet pc's. I want to do an install on a motion computing m1400.

I've installed Ubuntu-UMPC 8.10 on my Samsung Q1 Ultra Premium. It "just worked" (there are SOME rough edges, like the display settings for "don't dim if you're on AC power" don't work, and manual network settup doesn't seem to know how to remember the netork gateway I gave it, but overall it works. I'm using it to type this). But, this is the platform they built around, supposedly.

For other platforms? Not sure. Though, I haven't seen much presence from the Mobile/Embedded team here on the forums. They have a mailing list off of their web page on ubuntu.com though. I'd start there.
