My backend is 8.04, and as of last night I had 8 days (max for EIT) data.

I know that doesn't help much, sorry. Reboot generally solves it for me.

Hi,

This may sound funny but have you tried scrolling through the epg. I had this happen to me, where everything was listed as unknown.

I kept on fiddling with my settings in the setup but nothing worked. I then scrolled through the channels in the epg and slowly as if by magic the programs came up slowly here and there. By the time I had done about three laps of the epg everything was back to normal.

I don't know if this will work but give it a go. I have been waiting for mine to go again to see if it works but I haven't lost them again yet.

In Mythtv-backend setup, goto 2. Capture cards, set the option 'Active EIT Scan' To on (X), if off eit will not initiliase otherwise.

Also change the mythfilldatabase to run at a time your box will most likely run.
