So i'm all new to ubuntu and Linux in general. I had an old stationary lying around and decide to create a dualboot on it with Ubuntu 8.10. All went fine until i tried activating the graphics card drivers. After i'd restarted my screen said "Signal out of range" with the screen all black. I'm afraid i've installed a wrong driver. It's an nVidia 7600 GS graphics card.

How do i get around this?
