I'm hoping someone can help with a vexing problem. I need to record a radio station's stream for editing purposes. I have Audacity, MHWaveEdit and Sound Recorder installed. None of these devices are able to register any input when I try to record. I have been to the volume control (pavucontrol) as well as the ALSA mixer, and the sliders appear to be set properly, but no audio gets into the record device. I'm stumped. I'm also very new to Ubuntu, so if you can keep it real simple, that's be great. Simple or not, though, I just need some ideas on what could be wrong. Anybody?
