Under "General"->"Miscellaneous Settings" there is a "Miscellaneous Status Application" setting. Does anybody know where exactly is the information supplied by such a status script supposed to show up? There are two status pages in Mythtv, the one in the menu - called "System Status" - and the one in MythWeb, called "Backend Status". The docs seem not to state anything specific about which one they are talking about.
The thing is that I tried the myth_status sample script, and the data did indeed show up, but only through MythWeb. I would have expected it to show up primarily somewhere on the Mythtv menu status page, which it did not. Is it supposed to (not) work like that...?
