Sure, Mythbuntu can do pretty much anything. Mine is basically Ubuntu Home Server©™. I've got a combined frontend/backend that does these things:

Desktop OS running GNOME
Samba fileserver
NFS fileserver
Ampache music streaming
UPNP server for Xbox360/PS3

Good. Mine will probably end up doing quite a lot. Only issue is it would be nice to recieve WMP streams. Is that possible?
