Where can I get the Ubuntu boot screen?

I'd like to try and make the dithering a bit better. I have practiced pixel art quite a bit and that's exactly what it needs.

GIMP can do dithering to a certainly good degree...

But where can I get the default boot screen? I mean the usplash(?) thingie.
