Hi,

I'm trying to change the email address for the forums, but on the email address I want to use I do not get the activation email. Where as with gmail it works fine.

Need some assistance with this. Hope its not the wrong place to post. Many thanks

Any ideas why I would not get the activation email on the address I want to use?

Incase it helps I've got that account for launchpad and other forums working fine.

If you're just changing the email address, I don't think it would re-send a validation email.

Either way, have you checked the spam folder of your email account?

yes I have checked the spam folder and nothing there.

Changed the email to the address I wanted and wasn't receiving any notifications for a couple of days.

Changed it back to gmail today and received an email for activation and am getting notifications fine now.

Seems a bit strange i know :(
