No this is different. When I go to "Listings" on mythweb and select a show to record it will show up in "Recording Schedules" but not in "Upcoming Recordings". If i use the frontend and go to "Program Guide" and select the show and set to "Record only this showing" from what i understand it should have a highlighted box around it when i go back to "Program Guide". It does not, I should also mention I'm new to setting up mythtv. So it could be some small configure issue. It like the jobs are not being added to database or the jobs are not running.

But thanks for the help.

I have no sound card in computer (not planning on watching tv on it) could that cause this?

KnoppMyth works! But I prefere mythbuntu! I think it is a config issue.

Don't shoot me if this is really obvious (it caught me out a few times), but you are remembering to save the changes after you set to record?

If so, could it possibly be a browser caching issue rather than Myth itself? Does it only happen when scheduling recordings through MythWeb?

Just ideas off the top of my head.

I'm not like that. I'm just glad that someone is trying to help. But no KnoppMyth works fine and I schedule it the same way. I think I'm going to write down the config of KnoppMyth and compare it to MythBuntu.

It was a bad video card. I replaced the card and it started scheduling.

Thanks and sorry. Not sure how to close this.
