View Full Version : [ubuntu] Tomboy notes window positions are not remembered in Intrepid

Hi,

When I ran Gutsy, the window position of my Tomboy notes was remembered. Every time I opened a note, it would appear in the same position as always.

Since I upgraded to Intrepid, each time I open a Tomboy note, the window position is slightly lower than the previous position. As I open and close the note, it marches down my screen toward the bottom.

I would like to keep the old functionality where the window position of my Tomboy notes is always remembered and never changes.

I'm running Tomboy version 0.12 on Gnome.

I already posted this question in the General Help forum: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=986676

I am reposting here because I checked with the Tomboy guys and they figure it's probably a Window Management issue. Hence I'm posting to this forum.

Are there settings that control this behavior somewhere? I can't find them by clicking through the System menu.

Thanks,
Mike
