View Full Version : A lot of spanish in the forums

hey this is bugging me. We have a Ubuntu-es forum. Why are people making spanish posts here? i like the latin american and iberic participation, but if you are going to request help here, try to make your post useful to others and make it in english. it isn't hard.I grant you this, the help here is better than the one in UF-ES, but still not all the community speaks english, and few speak spanish (as I do). I dunno if it is the forum rules, i certainly hope so...

Antes de que empiecen a a bardear soy de colombia como pueden ver y si hablo español, sinembargo hay sitios para cada cosa, hay muy buenos foros en español incluyendo Ubuntu-es y sitios muy utiles como tuxapuntes y entre tuxes y pepinos, entonces ¿para que venimos a postear en español a un foro angloparlante? de seguro cualquier persona que pueda participar aqui en español puede hacerlo en los sitios propicios.

If anyone could inform me if i'm out of line complaining here, and the forum rules allow foreign language posting, i'll be glad.

Technically all posts here should be in English, but we do have subforums for LoCo groups, so there may occasionally be a post in another language that strays outside that area.

And of course, if a help request appears in another language, it doesn't invalidate the request. It just means it may be a little more difficult to support. :)
