Hi, Ive got an Iogear Digital Scribe, can anyone help me get drivers for it for Ubuntu please[-o<

It doesn't look likethere are any drivers available for your device. I would check with the manufacturer to see if they have anything.

Yeah I checked with them they have no future plans for Linux support.

For what it's worth, I just plugged my GPEN200N into my Dell XPS1330 running Intrepid 8.10, and it was detected as a mouse. Seems to work just fine, but you have to hold the button down or press with the pen before the mouse pointer will move. I couldn't get it to "click" on anything.

I tried placing it in "note mode" (using my windows PC) before connecting it to the Ubuntu laptop, but it still connects as a mouse. I was hoping it would show up as a portable storage device, and let me download the notes as JPG files or even some proprietary format. I don't know what format the device uses internally.
