Running ubuntu 8.04. when the computer falls asleep, upon awaking it all the lights illuminate but the screen is black.
I have been searching around and read to try editing /ect/default/acpi-support.
So in terminal i used sudo gedit /ect/default/acpi-support but when gedit comes up there is nothing there. Its just blank? Why is this? And/or is there something else I should be doing?
