View Full Version : A fix for the Gnome menus and dropdown boxes

For some reason, the window that is created for the menu/dropdown box is the correct size but is given arrows top and bottom. If you scroll through a bit, it corrects itself.
It would be nice if this was fixed.

Which part of the menu are you talking about? Sometimes, System->Preferences can get too long, so that it doesn't fit screen width. Editing out the unneeded entries is then the way to go.

This happens when there is plenty of room on the screen but the menu decides to scroll instead of being shown complete.
When I see it happen again, I'll post a screenshot.

I saw it too, for example, when you have a list of updates in update manager and you right click the update it shows up and down arrows and than changes to "Check all" / "Uncheck all"
