Red Alert 2

has anyone gotten Red Alert 2 to work in wine or crossover office? i would like to install that game on this computer but i get a .dll thing not being updated and then it tell me to restart.

I only could make it run in cedega. Also you must patch the game for working so i am not sure if wine and crossover helps.

I got it working with wine. Even IPX-networking / LAN-play works...

Install the game on a windows machine, patch to 1.006, apply a nocd-patch from megagames.

Transfer to your linux-box. Install wine. Then run winecfg and change colordepth to 16 bit. Experiment with sound-settings. Should work!
