Ok, so I don't know if this is the correct place to post or not, but this is my situation. I got tired of my old Radeon 9600 card not showing the map on WoW.. so I went to Fries and picked up a PNY Nvidia GeForce 6200 AGP 8x card. Installed it and all went well... Installed the newest driver's from the invidia Website, 180.06. I followed all the posts on how to obtain performance off the nvidia forums but I still cant get more than 18 fps on WoW WotLK... and whats worse... only 75 FPS on glxgears o.O;; even after I enabled both the SBA and Fast Writes options.. Well heres a few of my settings, hopefully someone with this card or who knows more about it can tell me what I'm doing wrong.

cat /proc/driver/nvidia/agp/status

Status: Enabled
Driver: AGPGART
AGP Rate: 4x
Fast Writes: Enabled
SBA: Enabled

<.< this is an 8x card btw... but only shows 1x 2x or 4x o.O;

and for my xorg.conf..

A fast reply to help me out would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks a lot for all you can do

found a small increase, wondering if its all just xorg problems.. this is the small change I made after reading a post I found on different forums, Don't know why, but removing the horizontal sync and verticle refresh rates it makes the fps on glxgears increase to 1500.. Sooo... does anyone have any other suggestions on how to edit the xorg.conf to make it have better fps? or any things to edit in the nvidia-settings? thanks again
