Before "zipperback" or anyone tells me this is illegal and tries to close the thread, just read the rest of the post first please.

I own a MacBook. I'm using Ubuntu ON my MacBook because I like Ubuntu better than the Mac. I have VirtualBox installed in Ubuntu on my MacBook.

Has any one ever tried installing Mac OSX on VirtualBox through Ubuntu? Why? I'm tired of dual booting, and almost never use the Mac anymore, but would like the freedom of doing so if desired.

I have VirtualBox installed on Ubuntu on my MacBook running Windows XP. Can I also run Mac OSX Leopard on Ubuntu which is on my MacBook through VirtualBox? If so, do I use, "Other/Unknown" as the platform in setting it up?

I tried this today. I did select "Other OS," but the install failed as soon as it began.

Anyone???

VMWare and PearPC appear to be the solutions. I'm going to check em out now

I tried installing Mac OS X using VMWare 2 and it failed twince ...
If I had to give you a piece of advice, that'd be not to delete your Mac OS X install, for the sake of firmware updates and so on. Reduce the space for OS X to its smallest and leave it aside I'd say.
