How do I thank people on this site

Hi All:

I have been really impressed how hard this community works to maintain itself. The support from your average members just looking at posts (whether the advice works or not) has been for lack of a better term heartwarming. I want to make sure that in the future I am able to thank people for their efforts, but as I am a linux newbie I am unsure as to how to do this, can anyone help me in terms of thanking people properly for going above and beyond in helping me?

Does this button only show up a certain times? I am not able to see it and other users in other threads are reporting the same issue. Am I missing something obvious :lolflag:

Never mind, I figured it out via another thread there is a yellow medal icon over on the bottom right of the screen.

Well, yes. In the support forums and in the Cafe the Thanks button is there. In the Community Cafe Games forum it isn't there.

It doesn't appear for posts older than 60 days either. Or on your own posts (for obvious reasons ;)).
