Hi,

I downloaded the subdownloader installation file via the website http://www.subdownloader.net/ (choose the one designated for debian & ubuntu packages)

All packages were installed via the 'GdebiKDEDialog' and according to the package installer pop up I got after installing "all dependencies were satisfied".

Problem is I can't find the program itself, even if I perform a search via the launch button or try to run it in the konsole (lo launch a program in the konsole you just need to type the name of the program and Enter right?)

Anyone to help? thanks, Cozze

Just type "subdownloader" (without quotes) in the konsole and hit enter.

Well that is what I tried but it says: command not found

Are you sure the application was successfully installed?

I guess so as the package installer pop up I got after installing said "all dependencies were satisfied".

do you think it might be possible due to the fact that i downloaded it directly from the web instead through adept? The program isn't available via adept anyway.

Try installing it again. Get it from GetDeb (http://www.getdeb.net/).
