PPC Alternate Install 8.10 or Desktop 8.04 CD?

I want to use a liveCD with my iMac G4 PPC. I have found a download for 8.04 Desktop and one for 8.10 Alternate Install, both for PPC. Which one should I use? I'm just interested in playing around with a liveCD at present so I don't want to actually install Ubuntu. Thanks.

You should use Hardy (8.04) Live-CD. There is also an Intrepid Live-CD, a daily version, but when I tried it, it did not work for me
