Looking for a printer compatible with Ubuntu 8.04,been recommeded a Canon Pixma xxx,tried the Cannon web site not much help.:lolflag:

I would stay away from anything Canon as far as Linux is concerned. Canon has repeatedly stated they will not support Linux. Check here:
