-==Can you survive?==-
It's easy, just post the letter. And appologies if someone else is doing this, I couldn't see any.

"Alright! Is everybody ready?" the sky diving instructor yelled over the noise of the plane.
You heard yourself gulp. This is the first time you've ever skydived, but hey, what could happen? ...Besides breaking your neck. You felt some sweat coming down your forehead.
"YOU! Jump in 3... 2... 1..."
You jumped out of the plane. Everything was going fine. You pulled the cord and the parachute came out. Then, to your horror, it inversed and made itself useless. You crashed into the ground with a satisfying thud.
Later you woke up from unconsciousness.
"I'm... alive?" You thought, then you realized the snow must have cushioned your fall. You tried moving but found that your right leg was broke, and any movement sent beads of pain in your body.
There are some trees around, but besides that it's full of snow. The plane is nowhere in sight. Fortunately you have emergency supplies.

Well this game isn't strictly saying "A,b,c..." ect, you can say like "B) Check your suroundings, if it doesn't have a purple pony then use my big stick to kill myself."
........Of course I don't quite recomend it. Oh, btw you can also say more then one letter.
Apologies for the colors and the odd post, I copy and pasted this from another forum, thusly the broken hr tags... (Gah! Why doesn't this forum have hr tags...)

You attempt to search your surroundings more thoroughly. You find a lot of interesting things. Such as snow, snow, snow, snow, and most fascinating of all, snow! You're about to give up, but you decided to look at the tree's around you. They're hard as rock. But wait a second... they look familiar! Then it comes to you, these are aliarmic trees, one of the few that have delicious edible innards... but it wont be easy getting too it. You're going to have to use your flint to cut open the hard skin, and its going to take up a lot of your strength. Then again, you don't know the next time you're going to get a decent meal......

At first i do 'c)' for a while. Surely its going to cure the leg more than 3 in next turn. Then again i look around (D > Other) to find a piece of hard rock, hard enough to break the hard skinned fruits of aliarmic trees. If i find it i think i wd try to move towards the trees using that stick i have ... and i know i will be able to do that.
(It really reminding me about the situation i had last month. I went on a trek to 'Sandak Phu' and almost broke my right knee. Then on the last day i had to come down near about 18 km and almost 3000 feet. So it was steep and i hardly cd walk even if in the plains. Then i started walking with two sticks. and covered the entire 5 hours route in 11 l-o-n-g hours. It was horrible, but as the sun had gone down when i reached my destination in the late evening, I got the opportunity to see the full moon on my way. And i must say it was a divine experience to watch Himalaya being flooded with moon. The forest was calm, I was alone ... it was an experience that made me forget the pain i had.) ... okay ... lets carry on.

Wow... that seems like quite an experience you had. Hope you got that leg treated.
On topic, nice thinking out of the box... I hadn't thought of using rocks... :lolflag: Also, it wasn't a fruit, it was actually the inside of the tree that was edible, but it was an honest mistake. Your character will try it anyways. :P
Also, please pardon me while I'm switching some variables around. This is new too me, and I want the variables to be as fair and fun as possible. :)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Before trying anything you decided that you need to tend to your leg first. And your very grateful to yourself, despite the limited tools you manage to treat your leg pretty well. It does however take some time, and you know it'll be nightfall soon.
You look around for some rocks, and to your great luck you find a big one right near you. It takes a lot of your strength to move it near the tree and even more to pound the tree, but after quite a bit of work it finally opens up, and you have a right big feast, and fill your pockets with the food. This could be a strategically important place because of the abundant supply of food, and it is starting to get a bit dark...
And your getting very, very thirsty...

As it is going to be dark soon, surely it would be better to "A) Attempt to get some shelter and sleep". Now there is two different problems in it. The first thing is to get protection from the cold. a fire cd have helped the best. But i dont have any equipment right now to create a fire. I have seen a movie named 'Cast Away'. Although this is not the time to think about the movies and there is no guarantee when I will get the next chance to watch one, but still it reminded me about that movie, especially about that scene where Tom Hanks used the frictional heat to create a fire. But this is not the time to rubbing things for hours as night is coming ahead. So I thought i wd try the method tomorrow morning.
The second problem is snow. If snowfall starts while i am sleeping, there are huge possibility that i will not see the dawn. So I decided to climb an aliarmic tree. This would solve the snow fall problem, but not the cold. I knew that these aliarmic leaves is not going to help me much, but i dont have any other option right now. I just have to stay awake and pass the night somehow thus I dnt get freeze enough even if I lose some health point. Next morning I will start to rub the hard aliarmic skin with my wood stick and i hope if i rub couple of hours i will be able to create enough heat for the fire. but those no for now ... Lets start climbing up ...

I'm loving how you keep thinking of different ideas then I was expecting. It keeps it interesting for me.
...and because I feel like being a good sport, i'll remind you that you have some flint in your inventory. :P
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This thought of movies keep popping into your head. Let's face it, you think, I'm totally homesick, and it's not even past the first day...
Although you do remember a certain technique in the movie... You decide you'll try it in the morning. Right now priority one would be to get shelter. Using a lot of your strength, you climb the arialmic tree despite your sprained arm (which now hurts worse). Unfortunantly you could only carry your cantine and your aliarmic food up with you for weight reasons, so if some snow comes you'll have to dig your backpack back up. Oh well.
You stay up half the night, until your strength just fails you, and you take a snooze. When you wake up however, you find a unpleasent surprise, a bear is right next to your tree, and he's sniffing at your backpack!
Warning! Thirst is at critical!

Good choice. :P But what about the bear...?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You frantically uncork your cantine and sip down half of the water. You feel much much better. That is, until you look down again and see our fuzzy little friend ravaging in the backpack, obviously looking for food, and destroying everything else in the process. Quick! You need to think of some way to stop him or survival's going to be much harder.

Things are not going well. But before going into that i want to tell you why are you being so much surprised that i am thinking in a different line? We are two different people, and so we think differently... we dont have to try to do it. Moreover i am just responding normally to the situations you are giving. Its you who have to think more. If you make it too difficult and leave no option, it will be boring. If you make it too easy, it will be the same. So it s you who have to think more. :p
Anywy, as for the game, you dont have to warn me about the thirst. I knew its gettin worse, but as the cantine was left only 2 use i didnt wanted to use it soon. I thought if i cd make some fire in the morning I will try to melt some ice to get some water and drink it up. But then the Bear came and jimi_hendrix take took the sip.
Anyway, but things on your side was not well from now.
1) I cant understand to uncork a cantine why do I have to use a flint. 2) Why the flint will break and the number of use will decrease from 3 to 1 !!
3) Despite having food, water and sleep why my strength is decreasing so rapidly and at the same rate? !!
4) Despite jimi_hendrix using the cantine once and not refilling it, the "number of use" of it remain the same!!!
These things are not being good for the game and sd release a new version soon.:p
Anyway, i will carry on with the game in my next post ...

Now , although it was more necessary to get rid of the bear before increasing the thirst score (as it can wait a bit), I took a sip. But there is a reason behind this step. Firstly I dont have any weapon or enough strength to fight the bear right now. moreover I simply dont want it to know my presence above the tree. So all I had to do is to distract it with some kind of sound. The only thing available to me is the cantine and i decided to throw it to an opposite direction making a 'Thug'. Surely the bear will be attracted to it and go to that side. While it will be engaging itself with the cantine I will climb down quickly and take my things and the stick and again climb up the tree. So, before I throw away the cantine I took the sip because I dont know when next time i will be able to have that cantine and how long the bear will play with it.
So ... I did it. Throw the cantine, and when the bear is gone I quickly took my things up. Now I simply have no option but to wait when the bear will be bored enough with the cantine and go, because I simply dont want it to know my presence above there. The probem is i cd be bore enough before the bear and may be fell asleep. That cd be fatal if i fell from the tree while sleeping. So to keep me awake i start noticing the bear carefully. It sniffed the cantine for a long and then somehow lost its interest, probably understood that there is no food. Then it come back to the tree again and look for the things he saw last time. But those were not there and it made him surprised. It gone back to the cantine again and came bach towards tree and searched the entire place for a looooong. Then got bored and left... phew, atlast.
But it already made me too late to start the day. I saw a plane went though sky , but i didnt even dare to shout for help as the bear was still there. Anyway, it happens. Soon I have to think out something about the bear if it continues to come. But I dont think it will as it did not get food this time. It will look somewhere else. now its already noon. And its the high time to start that Tom hanks movie trick. but there is a bit of preperation and 2 problems.
Preparations:
1) Now if you try to make a fire just by the frictional heat, you have to preserve the fire and should not let it die. because whenever u need fire again it will not be reasonable that u rub things again for two hours. So, I gather a lott of dry Aliarmic leaves, thus i can continuously supply them to keep the fire alive.
2) Second preparation is for oxygen. in that movie, after rubbing for a long the character of Tom Hanks understood that by this fire will not be there because there is no source of oxygen between the things being rubbed. So he made a groovy channel on the ground, and start rubbing putting the things on that channel like a bridge (Watch the movie if you dont understand. its a nice one). As I have watched the movie and knows it beforehand, so i cut a little groove on the ground with my stick.
Then comes the real part ... making the fire.
I start rubbing the hard Aliarmic skin with my stick. I hoped after rubbing continuously for 1 or two hours there will be enough heat produced. But hoping is one thing, and doing it is another. Already my sprained arm is in a bad condition because of so much tree climbing, sometimes with the luggages. And continuously rubbing tree skin is not as interesting as playing forum games. So, after half an hour I stopped. Its being difficult ................ but not impossible, I said to myself. Thinking about another cold night coming I started to rub it with extra enthusiasm. Sometimes near after an hour may be I saw a faint smoke. But then its gone again. It increased my hope. I dont know it was an illusion or not, or am I going to be mad or not , I dont know how long it has passed since I started rubbing tree skins, I dont know what that bear is doing now, I just kept on rubbing. After one and half hour or may be much more than that i dont know suddenly there was a lot of smoke, and this time it cant be an illusion. I start putting dry leaves in that place. and resumed rubbing it soon... There Is A Flame !!! YESS ... It is done. Now I HAVE FIRE TOO ... :lolflag:

Quite right, I'm not that surprised, I'm just worried about if a time'll come where I intend for someone to do something, but they do something else and the game ends up stoping prematurely. :lolflag:

2) The flint was in the backpack on the ground, and the bear was rummaging all around in there.
3) Primarely because I'm too lazy to make a realistic calculation on how it should drain. :lolflag: Plus for simplicity sakes. Maybe I'll lower it though.

Well I just mean when you said you threw the water bottle down, I might have said the bear didn't hear you, then got a chainsaw and hacked the tree you were on down, then signaled the death star to destroy the planet.
...Although probably not, but you never know. :P
...Plus I got to think of something to keep the story interesting. I'm bad at storywriting. >.<
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Finally... you got a fire up. It'll last for only a couple of turns, but that enough to keep you comfy. It could also signal any planes passing by.... A tremendous advantage, that is, if any planes do every go by. What if they don't?... You think to yourself, but you shove the idea out of your head. They'll come for sure, you know.
Wait a second... you here a slight sound... like helicopter blades..... It is! It's a helicopter! They must have sent out search partys! Odd though, especially because there was never really any hint to them that you crashed...
Oh well, who cares? Right now, priority one would logically be to try to get the helicopters attention!

Ha ha ... In that case my ending will be simply like this ... " Then the princess of the snowland came down and hug me :p ... and suddenly i found that both of us are flying high. She dropped me at the roof of my house and asked if I wd marry her. Then we spend the rest of our lives happily ever after. :D ... Wow! Sucha nice story ... :D"

Yah ... I have thought about the fire attracting the attention of planes passing through this area. And I have already thought how to use it. i placed dry leaves and stems on the ground in such a way that it makes the word "H". Then i put the fire into it ... wow ... now there is a H of fire on the ground that will be visible even in the night time also. It was really a good job, and I was very much satisfied with myself though too much tired. After all never in my life I have ever thought that making fire is such a difficult thing to do and such a matter of joy at the end.
Now in a quite satisfactory state, as I found that my thirst and hunger points are more or less okay ... I decided to nurture my broken leg thus it heals a bit faster. But suddenly. at that very moment, I hear the sound. What is it? Is it a Helicopter approaching towards this? It must be so. They have arranged a search party. It must be so. So I should tell them my position. I just jumped up forgetting about my leg, and took out a big burning stem from the fire and started wave it over my head and started to do the first option given to me when I started the game ... " A)Yell for help as loud as you can" ....
Continue CJ ... Lets c what happen ... :p
