Ubunteros,

I recently upgraded to 8.04LTS two weeks ago. I have been noticing that when I cut and copy info from web sites into OpenOffice this program then crashes. Continuously.

As an example, I was visiting:

http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5h1W8dcUP9H70AmlSfDSenPteDT9gD94F2S800

At this web page I chose Edit > Select All > Edit > Copy

Then I opened OpenOffice Word Processor and did:
Edit > Paste

After that OpenOffice CRASHES.... I attached screen snapshots for review.

This has been happening quite often when I try to cut & paste from web sites into OpenOffice.

Is this a "Bug" or am I doing something out of order?

Any info or speculation would be appreciated.

Thanks everyone.....

Can you post some of your hardware specs? Notably the CPU speed and RAM.
