I've upgraded to Intrepid and then got a bluetooth adapter for my PC. Historically I never thought I'd use bluetooth on my Kubuntu box so I removed everything I could find relating to it, but now I'd like to use it and I can't get it to work. Does anyone have suggestions on installing the necessary bluetooth packages in Kubuntu 8.10 with KDE4 and getting my iPhone to pair with the box?

I'll bump this too...I can get my BT mouse to work manually by installing HIDD from the repos....but can't get it to start at boot. It seems KDE4 and BT is in a state of development right now. But there should be a way to run hidd --connect xx.xx.xx.xx at boot right?

In Ubuntu 8.10, I've managed to pair my iPhone via bluetooth. it doesnt do much atm. :( it quickly shows a code, which then quickly disappears for some reason Im on 3.0, so that could be why it can pair?.

Bump. Running Kubuntu Netbook 9.10 here, and it finds the iPhone 3G, but won't pair with it, claiming the device "does not support input service".
