View Full Version : [ubuntu] Can I show more items in Main Menu bookmarks?

Hiya - i've added three locations to my bookmarks in Nautilus, and now when I click Menu->Places, rather than each bookmark showing (Documents, Music, Pictures, Videos, and now Movies, Comics and TV), I get a sub-menu which I have to mouse-over to get to the bookmarks. Is there any way of increasing the number of bookmarked locations to show before putting them in a sub-menu?

I know there will be a simple solution for this (gconf-editor maybe?), but a shove in the right direction would be a great help!

hmmm. I'm searched for it but can't seem to allow it to let you have more than 5 nautilus bookmarks before putting in a Bookmarks submenu in Menu->Places. Guessing at this point that there isn't a nice little setting you can change (as I think one of us would have found it in gconf-editor).
I did quick searches through the nautilus and gnome-main-menu source codes

apt-get source gnome-main-menu
apt-get source nautilus

though couldn't find the relevant change.
