It seems my first method was a hit and miss success for multiple people, so I posted an alternative method which is a bit more brute force, but it shouuld get the job done..
Anyhow, I'm posting here because 90% of these WOW expansion problems have nothing really to do with wine, only the EULA glitch, which if you didn't do the steps I defined, or didn't have a windows partition to copy them down to, you couldn't get that far.
I dont know where it should best go, so I will leave that up to you, the forum gods! :) But, if you are getting a lot of posts in other game threads or general help, it might be worthwhile moving this thread somewhere more visible if its not already there.
