So, I just awoke to being reminded that I never called County Control to tell them we had finished our burning of brush and dry weeds. So I called them. Personally, I believe rebukes can be often helpful if properly delivered. Especially if I'm tired and annoyed at self.

What do you have to get up at that time of night for?

Fortunately I don't have to put up with that kind of (not) sleeping pattern all the time. Some jobs are better planned, and have quite civilized hours, but some turn out to be a real pain. Still, freelance is better for me than going off to the same office every day.

It is now about 10 past seven. I have been here since 6, and have done nothing more than turn the system on. Now taking bets that I could just as well have come at 10 or 11....

Sqooup, I don't if it's over there or not, but see if you're chemist has Bonjela (mouth ulcer gel).
I found it works real good for ulcers, toothaches etc

redid the math (subtraction) and I found I actually only had 3hr. I don't feel grouchy, just......groogy

They threw us a curve today. We were expecting an early finish, and then we found out that the "rehearsals" start at 9 in the morning instead of one in the afternoon.
So we worked until 9 in the evening...

Day time here, but I am in a hall with no natural light.
Rehearsals means, at this stage, camera rehearsal, which means the sound guys sit around for hours whilst the video guys and the lighting guys do *something important*.
