[SOLVED] Hardy "fakeraid" install

okay so my problem is that when I attempt to boot I get stuck at "waiting for root" then it proceeds to drop to a shell saying it can't locate /dev/mapper/pdc_bbffe3 (which is the root partion). I already check fstab and it is correct. I have seen other people have had my problem but theirs don't quite match mine. can anyone help?

Well thanks for the links but I still didn't manage to fix it. Just destroy my install. I'll try agian using a different method and maybe that will work better.
